Understanding the National Correct Coding Initiative

During this complimentary, hour-long educational session, VitalWare's Director of Data Integrity, Jennifer Bishop, will take an in-depth look at the National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI). The differences between the Procedure-to-Procedure (PTP) edits and the Medically Unlikely Edits (MUE), the variations between the facility and professional versions of the edits and a discussion of the NCCI eligible modifiers will be covered during this webinar. In addition, we will interpret the files and review the appropriate assignment of NCCI-associated modifiers using real coding scenarios.

As well as over 10 years performing both DRG and APC audits for hospitals nationwide.
